I’ve been having a problem with the serial ports on my pc, the first port connected is automatically asigned to some windows communications and doesnt let me use it. Imrunning a windows 7 64 bit. Has anyone else had this problem? How do I solve this?

The problem was the 5V supply, adding a 12V made it work fine. Thanks

I’ve just bought one of these modules and I have put a pullup resistor to the sleep pin to high, supplied the sensor with 3.3V and only get a 0V readout on all the x, y and z. Does anyone have any idea what I could be doing wrong?

Hi, I am working on a project in which I don’t have a USB connector and I have to connect the XBee module, does anyone know of a model which just works with uart? (just RX and TX pins). I know that this one can use uart but space is a problem. Thanks!

I’ve connected the ROB-10847 stepper motor and suplied the controller with 5v threw the M+ and GND terminals and the power light turns on, I’ve also conected the stepper to the A and B terminals and sent the correct pwm signal but the motor doesn’t turn. Any idea why? Do you know of any site where I can find support?

I connected it to a 12V suply and I controlled it with a pic18f4520, I noticed it heated up after some time running (the motor also did) and after some days trying it out it started frying just connecting it to a 12V suply. I read in a comment that it can make some damage to connect and disconnect the motor when it is on. Can this be the cause? It’s the second time it hapens
