I am interested in using the real time clock in this unit for precise timing. I am developing a low power device that must be synchronized to UTC within +/- 10 milliseconds or so. In order to meet my battery life-to-size constraints I need to be able to turn the GPS on for just a short while every hour or so to re-sync. Does any one know if the RTC is temp compensated and weather or not the PPS can be set to run while the GPS engine is “sleeping”? If no PPS in sleep mode, is the 32KHz clock signal broken out on this board?
