  • Anyone know if an Arduino Pro Mini and a small LiPo could fit in this?

  • I bought one of these on Amazon, and in my opinion, DON'T buy it! There seems to be a design flaw. It's a challenge to get the thing closed properly, and when it's actually closed, it applies stress that loosens the "sunny" connector on the front of the board (the one on the same side as the camera; not at the ribbon cable.) The result is hours of wasted time. I first got errors like:

mmal: mmal_vc_component_create: failed to create component 'vc.ril.camera' (1:ENOMEM) mmal: mmal_component_create_core: could not create component 'vc.ril.camera' (1) mmal: Failed to create camera component mmal: main: Failed to create camera component mmal: Camera is not detected. Please check carefully the camera module is installed correctly

    Or this one:

mmal: mmal_vc_component_enable: failed to enable component: ENOSPC mmal: camera component couldn't be enabled mmal: main: Failed to create camera component mmal: Failed to run camera app. Please check for firmware updates

Fortunately, I purchased a "Cana Kit", and I realized (a little too late) that the case sold with it has a mounting assembly for the PiCam.

  • I'm new to motors and slip rings, but I have a project in mind. What is the best way to mount this slip ring? Specifically, I'm interested in using this next to this stepper motor. Can anyone provide guidance with maybe some drawings/photos of implementation?

No public wish lists :(
