Hmm. I guess that would make a lot of sense.
This is the same weekend as Denver Maker Faire. That's going to be a tough choice for many of the makers in the area.
Actually, Leprechaun traps are quite popular this time of year.
I wrote a Rust crate for this sensor: https://github.com/andygrove/tmp102-rs
To paraphrase Rudyard Kipling, "If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs ... you know you have chosen to keep a safe distance from the Sparkfun aerial competition". I really enjoyed last year's event but was somewhat concerned about the safety of my family. It was a tough call but the right one, in my opinion.
That sounds pretty cool. Thanks for clarifying!
Is there an ETA for when full details will be announced and we can start designing our new bots?
I'm curious about the "dangerous obstacles" in the ground course... does this mean they will be actively trying to inflict damage on the competing robots?
Here's a video of a robot I built this weekend using two of these motors powered by an L293D IC with a 9V battery: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hKtEQSAFKA. These motors worked out really well for this project.
No public wish lists :(
