  • Maybe take a look at the local hackerspace TinkerMill on Delaware in Longmont. Could post a meetup and have a brainstorming session on how to fix it...?

  • Well I got this as a gift for Christmas and there is obviously no quality checks at sparkfun since the screws that came with it are the wrong size and don't even screw into the alligator clips. Thank you for taking the wind out of my sails ....

  • you find out that life is a game of inches...

  • I just received the AVR programmer and was hopeful I could get it working with Linux, since it's my primary OS. Running Ubuntu 12.04 w/ the Arduino 1.0.1 IDE, I was able to burn the bootloader using the IDE interface after selecting USBtinyISP from the programmer selection and then burn bootloader. No AVRdude required, nor did I need to futz with any drivers. lsusb at a terminal shows "Multiple Vendors USBtiny".

    Hope that's helpful.
