  • The C file compiles OK but when i tried to program the IC it returns this error :
    avrdude -p atmega168 -P lpt1 -c stk200 -U flash:w:basic-out-atmega168.hex
    avrdude: AVR device not responding
    avrdude: initialization failed, rc=-1
    Double check connections and try again, or use -F to override
    this check.

    Do i need the the JP1 (AVR_SPI_PROG) as shown in the previous tutorial or the the serial connection as done in this video suffice the programming of the controller?
    What am i doing wrong here?

  • Can some help me here.Do I need the JP1 (AVR_SP1_PROG) connected to the breadboard before i can program the controller?

  • Can someone give a hand here.I am new to this.Where do i go on the AVR's Programmer Notepad to change it to a CLI.Or is it possible to use the inhouse CLI from DOS
