  • I had a spot of trouble with this, so I’m posting my solution for posterity.

    My problem was that the Bluetooth didn’t send anything back. Uploading code through it worked fine, and it was the right port. It would even send “U,9600,N” over the serial monitor when I reset the board, so it was working.

    The solution was simple. I was powering my board with a USB cable from the computer, so something there must’ve been getting in the way. The moment I switched from USB power to a 9V battery, everything went butter-smooth.
