Can this shield be used on a second Arduino to recieve USB data from an existing Arduino that is already sending out serial data on the USB (normally sent to a PC)? For example, my original project is sending out data to the USB port which is normally used for viewing the data with a PC, and all of the original project’s Arduino pins are used up in the project (no spare pins to create a simple serial connection). If I want to add a second Arduino with a USB Host Shield to recieve data via the original project’s USB and display that to a serial LCD, is this USB Host Shield capable of hosting such communication? I think that a “stand alone USB viewer” would be a neat tool to have when I want to temporarily view the serial USB output of an Arduino project without connecting a PC to my existing projects.
