Hi Nate -
Question regarding the statement:
“For Screamer to work, you need to have a COM port that is 1 through 4”.
While I agree COM109 seems high, is COM 1-4 simply what you programmed, or it some limitation of the MSCOMM32.ocx?
Since COM’s 1-4 are already in regular use on my machine, I was thinking about trying to tweek screamer to use some higher COM numbers. I don’t currently have VB loaded (but could load it if necessary). I do have C# Express, and was going to try tweeking the C# code posted by X893, but thought it might be a good idea to find out about why the COM 1-4 limitation is there in the first place…..
