  • “Free worldwide shipping” is not the same as “heavily subsidized because everybody is paying into it worldwide shipping”.

  • I’d like to see one of these with the D+ and D- pins broken out, so the battery can charge without requiring an additional USB connector, for USB-driven battery-backed devices.

I suppose it’d be possible to simply use the 5V in with another USB breakout board, but that seems somewhat inelegant given that there’s already a USB connector onboard.

  • Imagine a digispark-shield-sized board with a thin flex ribbon socket/cable, attached to an auxiliary 16-I/O-breakout board. Yessss.

  • I’d just like to throw in another shout out for Al Lasher’s. Awesome place; seeing SparkFun products there would pretty much make my life complete.

  • “Okay, Good. I’ve got the foam airplane parts and you picked up the cow costume, now let’s get to work on the launch platform and show this city what SparkFun can REALLY do!”

  • This is an infrared receiver and will not function for any sort of radio-controlled implementation.
Unless, of course, these RC toys are using infrared (which would make them very picky and hard to use :P).

  • I thought it was just a picture of a quarter, at first. I was quite confused.

  • I do not believe that this board’s mounting holes are spaced properly for fitting the standoff pips in the project case. :(
    It’s still a great charger!

No public wish lists :(
