I’m just this guy, you know?

  • Any notes on connecting a microphone? I want to build some custom “headsets” with one of these, not just listen to tunes.

  • No. There is no antenna connection on this chip. Its FCC certification is based on its use with the built-in antenna only. To connect any other antenna would invalidate the FCC certification and potentially leave you liable for tens of thousands of dollars in fines.

  • It would be really great if the datasheet or command reference started clearly that you cannot use the RN52 to connect to a Bluetooth headset. There are sections in the documentation where it sounds like it should be possible, which is very misleading if your statements here are accurate.

  • These work best with 13cm of wire connected to the antenna pin.

No public wish lists :(
