  • My CHG (charge) light is always on, even while running under battery only and when there is no battery. I thought the purpose of the light was to indicate that the battery is being charged. If not, how does it differ from the power light.

FYI: I am not using pin 13

  • Okay, so I've learned that the additional sketch size comes from the USB libraries that are needed for the Pro Micro and the smaller maximum sketch size is due to the boot loader.

All this would have been nice to know before I purchased this board.

  • For the same sketch I get: Pro micro Binary sketch size: 34,750 bytes (of a 28,672 byte maximum)

Arduino Uno Binary sketch size: 32,160 bytes (of a 32,256 byte maximum)

Why is the sketch bigger and the sketch maximum smaller?

  • How do you setup AltSoftSerial for this board?

  • By "(you can easily knock them off with a soldering iron)," do you mean a conventional soldering iron or one intended for use with surface mounts? I'm only a little past beginner but know I need to remove them to work with another board. That said I really don't want to destroy another board.

  • When plugged into a USB should I expect the chip to get hot? Is that a sign I have things wired wrong?

No public wish lists :(
