  • Really? I am pretty sure these use a micro ribbon connect like an ffc/fpc connector….I got some from digikey, but the only ones I could buy in small quantity were surface mount and the pins were no easier to solder than the original ribbon on the light….
    NOOBEN, in the data sheet it mentions a current limiting circuit as part of the cell phone design. I found that without adding a resistor the current exceeds limits, and the lights get very hot! SO I think you should add the proper resistor, depending on configuration, to keep the current per LED at max 20 mA.
