  • My favorite block is the Dual-H-Bridge. It controls the drive-train of my diff-drive bot, built up from the Actobtics Bitty kit. It was simple to wire up and, the available c++ driver on GitHub made it very quick to integrate into the project.

  • Is there, or will there be a compatibility table for the Edison blocks? Will there be any intersection in the Edison pins that are used by the blocks?

    For example if the H-Bridge block and 9-DOF blocks have common pins, ie, both use GP47 for example, then both blocks could not be used in a design, correct?

  • Does this block use an "enable" input on the edison side? If so, is the enable pin wired to PWM capable pin on the edison side?

  • The Schottky diodes would be for flyback, to protect the circuits from the motor current spikes, correct?
    If that is the case, do they need to be Schottky diodes, or would a simple rectifier diode like 1N4001 be sufficient here?
