  • Does anyone have any recommendations for lenses to use with these LEDs?

  • I'm new to the open electronics world, and have never ordered anything from SparkFun. This blog post makes it significantly more likely I will purchase something from you in the future. I'm guessing this incident, and most importantly your response to it, will more than make up the cost of the defective units.

    It is obvious that you haven't lost touch with what it's like to be a client, and not just a customer, and how you would like to be treated in that type of relationship. I had a boss who used to insist we refer to the people and businesses who purchased from us as 'clients' rather than 'customers'. He said the difference is that 'customer' implies a transactional relationship - I pay you money, and you give me a good or service. At that point, the relationship is over. 'Client', on the other hand, implies a long, trusted relationship.

    Regardless of the language you use, it is fantastic to see a company respond in such a respectful way.
