  • Not too relevant here, but just in case, that's not how USB works. The two data wires carry the same signal as a differential pair, which allows for higher speeds and reduced noise. Data direction is negotiated in the protocol.

  • No. AFAIK, there aren't any techniques for multitouch with resistive touchscreens, and I'm pretty sure it's not possible.

    It looks like it will go beyond its measurement range at about 5500 feet. It should be relatively accurate to within 1 to 2 feet in that range, but I'd encourage anyone who really wants to know to read the document.
