  • I hope you found what you were looking for before my reply here, but even if you did this may help someone else. The part you are referring to is a board edge, end launch connector like this http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/CONREVSMA003.031/CONREVSMA003.031-ND/340146 this one is a rp-sma connector (probably the kind you want). You’ll need a board of some kind to mount it to. It may be possible to use a proto board, just make sure you’re rf connections are good or you’ll have lots of loss.

  • The divergence will be linear, so if it is 10-15cm at 10m then it will be 30-45 at 30m. However, I would test your laser, the datasheet doesn’t seem very accurate on the other values.

  • The trackball on mine also broke off, however I didn’t have any trouble epoxying it back on. When I put it back on I put extra epoxy around the edges of the trackball and now it is solid as a rock. Other than that this works great, its very smooth, and reads very easily.

  • Am I reading the spec sheet right in thinking that at 12v and 1a the pump will pull the full 16" Hg of vacuum?

  • I have some of these in my reprap, they are great little steppers. Plenty of torque and .9 deg steps make these great for cnc applications. I’m using the Pololu A4988 stepper driver and while they were a pain to tune, once they are tuned they operate very well.

  • C * AH = discharge rate. So, in this case it is 2 * 400 = 800mA.
