okay, address question - in the schematics, there is a read address and a write address for both the accel and gyro, but the code examples, only one address is being used - is there some byte magic happening here.
this is the way i understand it… if you would want to send data to either chip, you would send it the the ‘write’ address, give it the register address, then the data to put in the register. if you would want to read from the chip, you would supply the read address, the register address and ask for a certain amount of bytes, ie 6 for the accel (x,y,z * 2 each, for int) ??
or something i dont understand?

follow-up…. bad solder joint. the 7bit address is the one to use with the wire library.
