  • I picked one of these up from seeedstudio and let me just say its wicked!
    For a hobbyist it does everything I could want.
    Its compact, light, and works quite well (using it to test pwm outputs for my AeroQuad work).
    I did grab a 3rd party firmware that I found through the seeedstudio forums that makes the UI a bit nicer to use (the stock firmware is a little dicey navigation wise).
    All in all I like it VERY much.

  • The current revision of this board has a potentially incorrect capacitor.
    I was unable to get it to work with either of my Arduinos and there are a few forum posts detailing the problem.

    A newer revision is in the works but there isn't an ETA on it (as per a support email I received from SparkFun on 2009-11-11). The workaround is to replace the capacitor with one like this:

  • I'd love to know how you removed the existing antenna as well. Though I doubt considering the age of your post that you won't reply to this thread :-(
