The schematic link doesn't open the pdf file.
Great price! I've used these before and they are a nice indicator that's easy to install (just drill a hole in your enclosure). However they are not good for outdoor use as they tend to collect water in the concave holder and let it drip into your enclosure. It would be nice to see outdoor rated LED indicators in the < $2 range.
It might be helpful to provide a little more info on what exactly the widget does or can be used for. For those who are not familiar with what a ADXL335, IDG500, or a very small analog IMU are.
They have three leads. power, ground and brush (the one you read the value from)
Cool new products, especially the EL stuff. You need to cut to some closeups when you show stuff like the breakout boards, you can't see what it is from this distance. Was that link on the screen for like 400ms or something?
heat shrink around the LED and the light pipe.
Very cool! How many LED's ?
Ditto. Thanks for being open about the business info as well as the tech stuff. Beware the paranoia that comes with age and success. Stay open.
So LED better than a photo transistor?
So there's tons of water in California, just not enough for Southern California? What?
No public wish lists :(
