Does anybody know - or had experience, in using two of these modules together in a slave/master combination with two separate microcontrollers?
i.e - One arduino passing some serial data to another arduino.
The above manual seems to indicate to me that this is possible, but I’m keen to know if any of you guys has had any joy doing this?
Thanks in advance - Replies appreciated!

Where does it ‘clearly’ say that calle?
Take a look at this pdf:
    http://www.multitech.com/en_US/DOCUMENTS/Collateral/comparisons/SocketModem_Product_Comparison.pdf
It has no mention of the HSDPA MTSMC-H on the list of chips with supported TCP/IP stacks - unlike the MTSMC-E1 which is the EDGE one.
Doesn’t look too clear to me.

    tbrkfd1 - Thanks for that.
Do you know whether Wavecom’s Socket Modem HSDPA has the same embedded TCP/IP stack as the GSM/GPRS model? I’ve looked at the data sheet and it doesn’t mention it, yet somebody I spoke to at one of their resellers said that they were pretty much the same.
    Any ideas?
