Thanks for the help! They will follow a strict bottleneck near the checkpoint so I don't think this will matter. Best.

I'm wondering if you would suggest this module for use as a proximity sensor. I'm racing RC cars and want a pre packaged device for measuring when they pass a checkpoint. Lighting conditions will be bright daylight.
