  • Is there a link to an .img file? or do I have to compile it??? This shouldn’t be so difficult…

  • The EEPROM jumper settings aren’t the problem. I’m not getting the navigation bar so once I get into anything like settings (a few levels deep) there is no way to get back to the “Home” screen without a hard reset. It’s also VERY slow. If anyone can point me to someone who has android working on this like a real tablet… I’d appreciate it.

  • Has anyone gotten one of these to work??? I’m still not giving up just yet…

  • Am I the only one who is wondering why someone doesn’t come out with a watch band (would like one for my Pebble!) with a snap connector for ESD? Or the only one with a tan line in the summer from wearing an ESD wrist band? IF you feel the static discharge… well, WAY too much. You’ll never feel what would destroy ESD sensitive components. Last board I did had so much ESD protection it wasn’t even funny! Reflow a pizza… fine. ESD is not a joke. It can do things you’ll never know until it’s too late and you have a failure that you can’t explain (an ESD failure is VERY difficult to detect or prove). It’s doesn’t always happen like “ZAP” and it won’t work…

  • I would like to actually use this as a 3-axis accelerometer data logger. Obviously it won’t do this out of the box. Any suggestions?

  • Why when there is every capability already on this board? Any breakout board should break out any and every pin available… even on a sensor such as this (I know it’s not listed as a BOB). My 2 cents…

  • I’m not sure how the USB RS232 works yet as it doesn’t show up as a virtual COM port on my Windows 7 machine… but…

    I’m surprised these are still in stock! Today I compared mine I received yesterday against our Lab Reference Fluke meter and it was spot on! The temp is about 1 deg. C low… but everything else is awesome. The logging capability is just icing on the cake!

    I would like to know more about the RS232 interface and if I can read it from an Arduino…

    But seriously, if you don’t have one… GET ONE! :)

  • A photo with a ruler next to it would be nice. 1000g isn’t as much as you think. That’s a pretty small container although it looks larger with the handles. Anyway… should be fun to play with. I have a LOT of people at work waiting to try it out for fixtures.
