    I have a newer PC with a 64-bit CPU that runs Debian linux. I see AVR makes a ATMEL AVR toolchain that runs on 64-bit linux: http://www.atmel.com/tools/atmelavrtoolchainforlinux.aspx Great! However, my newer PC has neither a COM port nor a parallel printer port. However it has a DVI port, and HDMI port, and a bunch of USB ports. Does anybody know how to interface the ATmega328 to any of these ports so I can compile & download programs?
