  • Hmmm, parallel port, let me see, I had one of those about 20 years ago.
    Do I have to go around all the garage sales looking for an old PC to use this programmer?

  • Great talk and really interesting to hear about SF’s beginnings.
    And speaking of jobs at Sparkfun (well someone did), I can’t believe that EE job is still going, SF sounds like such a great place to work and the projects so interesting I’d almost do it for nothing.

  • This looks like a nice board, but I don’t get how you can have 48 outputs without any latches?
    Surely you can only have 16 stable OPs at any one time and if you do anything with the other 32 you lose thier state.

  • Actually they are metric, the pin spacings are 2.5, 5, 10mm etc. But that is often close enough for a proto board.
