  • I'm pretty sure that judging by the unique sound repetition in that demo song for the light pipes, that it was a song by beats antique, correct?

  • Prehaps an energy harvesting/storing tutorial is in order? I could be wrong, but short of the battery primer they prepared it does not seem like there is much instruction on how to go about utilizing such technology as lovely breakout board above, or any of the energy generating products on SFE. I personally am interested in using flexible solar panels in conjunction with piezoelectric sensors and energy harvesting and storing, but would greatly appreciate any light to be shed on such matters. Heck, even a tutorial on bike energy generation would be pretty helpful! /end friendly rant
    Any direction to appropriate threads, tutorials, blogs, or forums would be greatly appreciated, and if they do not yet exist, HELP ;)

  • Would it be possible to get piezoelectric film elements in larger sizes (3+ square inches)? I want to use these in a piezoelectric energy harvester application, and it would help greatly if I didnt need to daisy chain many individual units.

  • Is there any way, with either this product or something else on Sparkfun, where I can send a serial signal to a microcontroller so i can decode gps signals to be displayed on an LCD?
    Just wondering because I want to make a backpack (like a daypack, not auduino extension) that has an on-board microcontroller. This would allow me to control flexible PV Panels from powerfilm to charge electronics as well as operate additional extensions such as GPS, internal LiPo charger, weather data, etc.
