    In C# there are a few things you need to do to get it to work.

    [SerialPort].DataReceived += SerialDataReceivedEventHandler(_DataReceived listener method name)

    [SerialPort].NewLine = “\n\r”; //Not the standard \r\n


    [SerialPort].DtrEnable = true; //Also may require the DTR pin to be connected. Not sure.


    [SerialPort].Write(“x”); //Not WriteLine

    once you Open() the port, your _DataReceived method will start getting messages.

    [string] = [SerialPort].ReadLine();

    You will need to filter out the menu messages.
