  • The link to the PDF schematic under “Documents” is still V1.0, should be V2.0 now.

  • Pretty nice video on assembling the simon game board and it was clever that you added some breakout pins so you could use the board for other things. I would maybe add it may be a good idea to socket the microcontroller so you could use it on breadboards, other projects, etc. Also that would make it less likely to damage the main chip for soldering newbies that leave the heat on a pin for too long.

  • Just out of curiosity, what tricks did you use so you don’t need current limiting resistors?
    Looks like for the Green LEDs, they are forward voltage of 3.0 to 3.4V, so I assume for those, you don’t bother with one as 2 batteries shouldn’t exceed 3.4V.
    For the LED, that has a lower forward voltage. Are you running some kind of square wave with a duty cycle so that you don’t overload the LED?
