  • I've been a happy customer of sparkfun for years, but this thing really annoyed me. There is no details in the datasheet as to how to connect this thing. So i had to try every combination. POFF... smoke. Awesome. Now I have a non working slider !!!!

  • I love how you guys help out people wanting to make a stand alone arduino. I remember when i tried, I sifted through tons of docs before I had mine up and running.

But can you guys PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add a tutorial on: * burning the arduino bootloader on the smaller ATMEGA chips you guys use * and document how you get that stand-alone.

Not only would this mean buying more from you, but it would increase your PCB business as well. People want to make things that "look" professional. The smaller chip with the PCB really does that.

If not, what do I need to burn the arduino bootloader onto one of those "small atmega chips"?

  • Some how I just cant let go the fact that Pete looks just like the villan in "the italian job". Lol!

  • I've bought SO much cool stuff from SparkFun over the years, that end up in the drawer because of initial quirks. Now, with your simple drawings I can finally complete my projects since I get documentation I understand, and not complicated datasheets that over complicate everything :) Thanks, site bookmarked!!

  • Could you show in your project how you attach iny tiny small SMD parts on a PCB?

  • Could you guys please get a small serial driven display? All the displays you guys have are too big, if you want something as simple as a battery indicator or other "status" window type applications. I read/view every product post in hope for that, but it never comes! Please take it into consideration :) I would at least by a bunch.

  • "Hi im Ted and Im suffering from sparkfunidrome-syndrome".
Lol, I seriously visit this site more than my local newspaper, checking for SF news. Keep up the good work SparkFun!

  • be very aware that this will not work in europe, as the plug is US standard power.

  • "Sparkfun is like learning how to play the piano in a day. Instead of staring out with theory, you just sit down and play."
This creates passion, that accelorates the learning experience.
Instant results, instant motivation, instant fun!

  • Finally, these babies are back in stock. THANKS sparkfun!!!!
Its awesome for us who followed your tutorials and want to move towards arduino+SMD-packaging :)
