  • What about PTCRB certification? It doesn't appear that any of the Sparkfun GPRS products have a PTCRB cert (or any hobbyist prototype for the matter). From my experience, T-Mobile and the rest of the carriers require a PTCRB certification for M2M devices to ensure the hardware plays well with the network. Using this card in a non-certified device might be violating T-Mobile terms...

    My company connects to T-Mobile through a third party M2M data provider, and we have to certify to this third party that we are only using PTCRB certified hardware.

    What are the appropriate APN settings for this card? is it m2m.t-mobile.com, fast.t-mobile.com, epc.tmobile.com?

  • I have the same question: Wouldn't a connected load affect the charge profile of the battery?
