This is approximately the setup I used to prototype my chicken coop controller. The dual power supply came in really handy to power the microcontroller with 5 volts and the linear actuators with 12 volts. The barrel jack extension cable is to connect power to the qwiic relay boar, and it also provides enough hookup wire for the project. To get the relay board in the enclosure, sand or file the short edges of the circuit board until they are flat.
