Description: Our Mini Metal Gearmotors are great for small robots but they can be hard to mount. Luckily, our brilliant Ministry of Machinery has spun up these plastic motor mounts. Simply bolt the mount to the faceplate of the motor and screw the mount down to your chassis and you're ready to roll!

Note: These are sold in singles. If you need a pair, you will need to buy two of them. No additional hardware is included.

  • WOW that is the shiniest quarter I’ve ever seen!!!

  • Really disappointed no screws are included.

demothen: the data sheet for that motor says a max depth of 2mm

    • The datasheet for the motor doesn’t list a depth for the screw holes; it shows that there are two of them (x2). The depth appears to be 4mm, so says my ruler and a pencil lead.

  • Two thoughts. First, it would be really nice if you had the appropriate length M2 screws available, it took me 3 hardware stores to find them, and the only ones I found are ½ inch long. Second, it would be even nicer if the holes in the bracket were large enough to pass an M2 screw through…..

  • Can anyone confirm the correct machine screws to use to mount http://www.sparkfun.com/products/8912 to this bracket? I get that they should be M2, but what length to not interfere with the gears? (this would be a great thing to sell as a related product!)

  • Looks like SparkFun has finally scraped together the funds to get a new quarter!
