Terminal Block - 6 Position (15A, 600V)

This 6 position screw terminal block provides a simple way to connect wires to a single connection point. These blocks allow wires to be screwed together and self-isolated without needing to twist, solder or any other splicing, by this method wiring can adjusted at anytime just as easy as it was the first time.

Each 6 position block offers a screw pitch of 10mm with a max current of 15A and a max voltage tolerance of 600V before risking meltdown or implosion.

Got any of those matching bus bars? Maybe ones that are scored so you can break off the length you want? I promise I won't use them with 600V applications.

This would be perfect to wire up 4 wires of a stepper motor and two more wires for an external power supply.

I'm pondering the 12 terminal strip for 12 solid state relays to drive lights. The SSR SparkFun sells for $10 is industrial strength, much safer and better than the SSR kit for $20.

I think I could use this in a low budget bench top power supply. I am going to get a couple to play with on my next order as well.

  • I need this for 100A applications!!!! ASAP! do you have something like that???

Hmmm. This looks like a perfect block to attach my transformers to in my Power-supply projects. definitely getting one with my next order...Never know when you need to safely connect some high power items!

Works fine and all, but cracks easily.

This terminal block appears to work fine in all the ways it's supposed to. Except that the body is extremely easy to crack. Just the force required to unscrew one of the terminals caused the body to crack in each of the two blocks I purchased.

Poor Quality, Misleading Product Photo

This is the first time I have felt compelled to write a negative review of a Sparkfun product, as they tend to carry quality products. I bought this item because it looks very clean and sturdy from the photo and was planning on using it in a project I wanted to look professional and clean. The clear plastic cover came with multiple scratches on it and the numbers 4-6 were not stamped into the plastic hard enough and were hard to read. The "600V 15A 6P" label on the cover that you can easily see in the photo was non-existent. To make it look even worse, there were pits in the side of the clear plastic cover from where they were broken apart after being molded. The screw terminals seem fine, but the black plastic body is poor quality plastic and easily cracks, as another customer mentioned. I believe it is priced fairly for the quality, but the picture is misleading. This would work fine in a project if you don't care how it looks and are very gentle with it, I would not use it in a project where you want to frequently change connections, as I don't think this will last very long. I don't know what perfect version of the product they used for the product photo, but it is not what I received.
