This five pack of PowerFilm Solar Panels are large, paper thin, and flexible power solutions that can be easily integrated with your electronics to provide you with solar recharging or direct powering methods! Even while bending and manipulating these solar panels, you will still be able to pull your full allotment of power from them.

These specific panels are capable of 200mA at 15.4V which equates to about 3W of power. Two leads extend from each of the panel’s two power rails that will allow you to easily solder cables, leads, or another connection medium without the need of any other tools to hook up.

These specific solar panels use a heavy-duty ETFE laminate that is UV protected with weather proofed edges, making them perfect outdoor use.

  • This is double the price I paid for 2 100-watt crystalline panels, mounting hardware and a 12-volt regulator. They work indoors and out.

    What exactly am I getting for the extra $200?

    • These are paper-thin and very light, which may be useful in mobile applications. I’d personally like to put a bank of these on the wing of a model airplane to see if I can make it solar-electric.
