5 feet of heat shrink tubing, 1/4" diameter. Use heat shrink to reinforce connections, protect devices, and electrically isolate exposed electronics. 5 feet should last for many projects! Shrinks to half the original diameter when exposed to heat.
Whether it's for assembling a kit, hacking an enclosure, or creating your own parts; the DIY skill is all about knowing how to use tools and the techniques associated with them.
Skill Level: Competent - You might need to break out the power tools. Nothing beyond a power drill or rotary tool should be required, but you might have a hard time with just a screwdriver and hammer. Cutting holes into plastic or metal might be required.

Not mentioned in the description is that this is formable. After it shrinks to about half its original diameter, it still won't fit on regular wire, but if you flatten with pliers while heating it, you get a tight fit.
I shrunk this with a hair dryer, it wasn't tight, so I went back later with a lighter and tried to get it to shrink more, but it expanded... then caught on fire... kinda annoying... don't use a lighter.
