Pithons LOVE Mice! Mouse Trap Alert System

The Pi-thons are a robotics team participating in the FIRST LEGO League 2016 Animal Allies challenge. The project asks teams to improve the interaction between humans and animals. We brainstormed lots of ideas, everything from protecting animals from dangers of renewable energy (windmills/solar generation) to working with pets. In the end we settled on live mouse traps. People set live mouse traps, but the mice often end up dying because they are trapped too long. We used Sparkfun parts to make a WiFi enabled alert system. Project instruction here
