  • I’ve ordered this for 50 Channel GP-635T GPS Receiver (GPS-11571) with Interface Cable for EM401 and EM406 - 1 Foot (GPS-09123) to do some bench testing. The only pin for the GPS receiver it doesn’t carry through is the battery backup (pin 5) which is tied to GND. The only other comment is the breakout board Tx/Rx pins are marked for the uC. In other words, you’d hook your Arduino to Tx to this boards Tx and the Arduino Rx to this boards Rx. They are set up correctly on the GPS board above.

    Yes!

  • What is the 1PPS pin for by chance? Is that the LED Status indicator? I mated this with a GS407, trying to get it to work with my mega2560 and TinyGPS code. Taking some time to learn the kinks and ropes of this.

  • Do not buy this if you plan on using it with the D2523T GPS, the pinouts are wrong.

  • what type of headers should i use to connect this board on to breadboard?

  • I assume this comes all nice and put together?

  • Why couldn’t this have come out two weeks ago! My limited budget could have handled tacking this on to my EM-406 order then but now I basically have to pay the cost of the device in shipping just to get it. I’ll have to wait until next month then to pick one up if I can find some enough in the budget to order a logger with it. Ahhh!
Great idea guys, just wish it had happened a tiny bit earlier for me.

  • I was just thinking it would be nice to have one of these…if only I had one, before I cut up my interface cable and soldered it to my board….
