  • i need that PICAXE Microcontroller what i do???

  • This 18X is now obsolete as Picaxe has introduced the 18M2. <br />

The question now is how long will it take Spark Fun to step up to the plate and offer the new version. I hope they don’t take the greedy tactic and wait until their stock of 18X runs out before offering the new 18M2.

  • It seems Revolution Education are replacing the picaxe 18X with the new 18M2. According the the datasheet at http://www.rev-ed.co.uk/docs/picaxe18m2.pdf it’s pin-compatible with the 18X. Is SparkFun likely to start carrying this part? Apparently the new device can even multitask… neat.
