My design is a much smaller modification of the SparkFun VoiceBox Shield (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10661)

We don't need a giant "Shield" to add speech and song to our robots and the VoiceBox is actually way too big to fit inside BillyBot! A BillyBot Christmas https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAjaJ2gVGM0

I need a board with the SOIC chip on it for about $20 not $40 and the world needs boards like my design above so all those DIP style SpeakJet chips can be put into projects instead of sitting in drawers.

Then using my book they can learn how easy it is to program the chip sans peripheral chips to talk and sing.
