I am slowly working on a parts list that wil power 8 strings of tree lights to music. Some ideas include expansion to 32 strings. All I know is it will be a bit different from what normal people would build :) If you ever see a post on www.mcyork.com about xmass lights - then maybe this wish list will be what I point to for some of the parts. The VS1053 I am working on coding now - this once mastered will form the core. The FM transmitter is aplace holder - you'll want something with a bit more punch - or a stereo system / amplifier.
