Texas Instruments RF Transceiver 76-GHz to 81-GHz
This transceiver is a self-contained, single-chip solution that simplifies the implementation of Automotive Radar sensors in the band of 76 to 81GHz.
Product Overview
Texas Instruments AWR2243 FMCW Transceivers is a self-contained, single-chip solution that simplifies the implementation of Automotive Radar sensors in the band of 76 to 81GHz. The AWR2243 offers unprecedented levels of integration in a minimal form factor. The AWR2243 FMCW Transceivers are ideal for low power, self-monitored, ultra-accurate radar systems in the automotive space.
The TI AWR2243 FMCW Transceivers are based on TI’s low-power 45nm RFCMOS process, enabling a monolithic implementation of a 3TX, 4RX system with built-in PLL and A2D converters. Simple programming model changes can allow a wide variety of sensor implementation (short, mid, long) with the possibility of dynamic reconfiguration for enabling a multimode sensor. The AWR2243 Transceivers are provided as a complete platform solution, including reference hardware design, software drivers, sample configurations, an API guide, and user documentation.
