Tempo circuit

The resistor and capacitor kits are optional, but are a cost effective way to get a variety of these components, which might be useful as replacement parts or for future projects. If you don't get the capacitor kit, you will need to find the 1uF capacitor somewhere else, like Jameco, as Sparkfun doesn't sell it individually. The chip socket is optional, but I prefer to use them, because then you are not applying heat to the 555 chip during soldering. The wire is optional if you already have some. You will need some to run between components in the circuit. Color doesn't matter, but I like to use different colors to keep track of different parts of the circuit (ie black for ground, red for +V, etc) If you are ordering for multiple circuits, you will need one socket, timer, breadboard and potentiometer per circuit.
