The Raspberry Pi 500+ is an all-in-one personal computer built into a compact keyboard, now updated with a high-quality mechanical keyboard featuring individually addressable RGB backlighting and replaceable key switches. Compared to the original Raspberry Pi 500, this version doubles the memory capacity to 16GB of LPDDR4X-4267 SDRAM. It includes a pre-loaded 256GB SSD, providing faster system responsiveness and expanded storage for applications, development, and desktop workloads.
Powered by a 2.4GHz quad-core 64-bit Arm Cortex-A76 processor with VideoCore VII graphics, the Raspberry Pi 500+ supports dual micro-HDMI outputs, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0. I/O includes two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, a 40-pin GPIO header for hardware expansion, and a microSD slot with SDR104 and command-queuing support. The system is designed for 5V/5A operation via a USB-C power supply, and includes a power button integrated into the keyboard chassis. Available in regional variants with 78, 79, or 83 keys, the mechanical keyboard combines desktop usability with the flexibility of the Raspberry Pi ecosystem.
