Fingerprint

Fingerprint scanners work by reading the tiny hills and valleys on the tip of your finger, which form a pattern completely unique to you. When you touch the pad, the sensor takes a digital snapshot or electrical reading of that exact pattern. It then picks out the special details, like where the lines loop, split, or end, and turns that picture into a secure digital puzzle. Finally, it checks to see if this new puzzle perfectly matches the one it already has saved on file before deciding to trigger an unlock or approval.
