This Clear Plastic Knob press-fits onto standard 6mm shafts and allows RGB light to shine through for your custom illuminated interfaces. The outer diameter of this knob is tapered, with 14.5mm at the top and 15mm at its base, and features two notches on either side to indicate position. Installation requires absolutely zero engineering degrees.
This knob was designed with one purpose: to make your illuminated rotary encoders look incredibly cool. Because the material is completely clear, it's the perfect companion for the Qwiic Twist RGB Rotary Encoder Breakout or our standard illuminated rotary encoders.
And yes, you can technically stick this on a standard, non-illuminated encoder too, assuming you are strictly opposed to fun and just prefer the aesthetic of colorless plastic. The choice is yours.
