How does the Facet FP work?
The FP models are differentiated by the Flex module inside that contains the GNSS receiver. Each FP model comes fully assembled with the chosen module, ready to be turned on and put to work.
If a new GNSS receiver gets released down the road or you decide that you want something different out of your equipment, you don’t have to buy a whole new device — just a new module.

All models are contained in our robust cast-aluminum housing, with an internal structure designed for easy compatibility with our Flex system of GNSS modules.
This enclosure provides each FP model with:
- IP67 rated housing that blocks out dust, water and other environmental hazards
- Internal survey-grade L1/L2/L5/L6 GNSS antenna
- LoRa radio with detachable antenna
- WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity
- MFi/iOS Certification
- Internal fast-charging battery

The Facet FP has an internal high power 1W LoRa radio built in, and comes with an external antenna that screws right into the bottom of the device.
The included carrying case has a custom compartment for the antenna, so no extra accessories are needed for long-range radio communication.
