To Shawn's comment about duct taping an old pager to a toothbrush, I used to be a pager tech pre college (also pre cellphone, pre bag phone, etc. - early 80's). We used to duct tape 4 paperclips (with the legs straightened out so that they made 4 legs) to the vibrating pagers and set off the pagers to watch them vibrate around similar to this. I don't claim credit for the idea by any means (I think I saw some of the other guys doing it before I tried it), but I got a kick out of Shawn's comment.

  • sigh Wish I lived closer. Would love to attend AVC. Ah well. Someday. As for the video, cute bristle bots. Cute premade skidder that wanted to kill all the bristle bots. Thanks for the inside look at the battle bots! All and all a fun watch. Only negative, lighting. Or lack there of ;)

Ok that did not help me not want to build a 1lb robot and I already have so many projects on which I am diligently procrastinating.
