  • My career in electronics started at the age of 5 with a Radio Shack 150-in-one electronics kit–very much like this one. GREAT way to start kids down the right path!

  • Wow that Electronic Playground brings back memories. I had Heathkit model back around 1968 or so, spring loaded contacts. I learned a lot from that kit, glad you’ve revived it with a new kit.

    • That’s awesome!

Once we got these kits in the building a lot of our coworkers freaked out when they saw them and asked when they were going to be available for sale so they can get one and relive their childhoods. :D

    • For me, it brings back memories of wanting one but never getting one, also back in the 60s. (My mother also said “Legos are too expensive”, so I never had the pleasure of those as a child, either.)

      • That’s one of the best parts of being an adult though, the ability to buy all the toys you never got as a kid!
