Two versions of the new GPS-RTK Dead Reckoning board are available, along with a special edition Qwiic Pro Micro, and a new Raspberry Pi 4 kit!
Hello everyone! This week we are releasing several exciting products we've been working on for a while, starting with the new ZED-F9R GPS-RTK Dead Reckoning Breakout and pHAT boards! These two boards are a great addition to our existing GPS and GNSS product line, so make sure to take a closer look below.
We also have a special edition of the Qwiic Pro Micro we've dubbed the "BoogieBoard." We only have a limited quantity available, and you can even pick it up today for free (see below)! To round out the day we have a new Hardware Starter Kit for the Raspberry Pi 4, a 2.4GHz antenna, and two 50-pin board-to-board double slot connectors.
Summer activities canceled? Welcome to SparkFun Summer Camp! We’ve got your classic camp fun covered online – with an electronics twist. Check out our activity schedule, and let’s have some fun! This is our second week of sales (hello BoogieBoard!), next week will be robotics, and week four is machine learning.
Now onto our new products!
The SparkFun ZED-F9R GPS-RTK Breakout and pHAT for Raspberry Pi are high precision GNSS boards with equally impressive configuration options that take advantage of u-blox's Automotive Dead Reckoning (ADR) technology. The ZED-F9R module provides a highly accurate, continuous position by fusing a 3D IMU sensor, wheel ticks, a vehicle dynamics model, correction data and GNSS measurements. These boards are 184-Channel GNSS Receivers that receive both L1C/A and L2C bands, and have an horizontal position accuracy of 0.20m with RTK.
The SparkFun BoogieBoard is a limited edition version of the SparkFun Qwiic Pro Micro - USB-C. There are only 275 units available and once they're gone, they're gone forever. Luckily for you, you can pick one of these boards up for free – just add the SparkFun BoogieBoard to your cart and use code "BOOGIEBOARD20" when your cart reaches $75 or more (not including this board or shipping/tax/discounts) to get yours! One board per customer. Sorry distributors, this item is not available for resell.
The Raspberry Pi 4 Hardware Starter Kit provides a solid set of parts and instructions for working with the Raspberry Pi 4 in a more hardware-centric manner. While the Raspberry Pi isn't typically considered a go-to for hardware projects, its I/O pins hold a lot of benefits that you can use for a variety of applications. This kit covers the basics like using LEDs and buttons, while providing a solid set of parts for working with any other hardware I/O and the 40-pin header.
Duck antennas offer great range in a rugged option for wireless technologies. This 2.4 GHz antenna adds the ability to be directly panel-mounted. It plugs in through a 216 mm cable with U.FL connector on the end.
These are the surface mount, 50-pin, 0.5 mm board-to-board double slot female and male connectors found on the Alchitry FPGA boards. These headers allow Alchitry FPGA boards to stack on one another by being soldered to the top side of the board.
