The BMP384 Pressure Sensor is the newest board to join the Qwiic ecosystem but don't forget about our new RP2040 options, too!
Hello and welcome back to another Friday Product Post here at SparkFun Electronics! This week we welcome the newest sensor to our Qwiic ecosystem, the BMP384 Pressure Sensor. This little sensor is highly accurate, to the point where you can even turn it into a low-grade IMU if you want! Following that, we look at two new development boards from WIZnet that utilize the RP2040 from Raspberry Pi. Last up we'll talk about two new wall adapter power supplies to power your next project! Enough of the intro, let's dive in and take a closer look.
The SparkFun Qwiic Pressure Sensor features the BMP384 pressure sensor from Bosch™. The BMP384 excels at high-resolution measurements (up to 21-bit) and uses a gel-filled cavity to provide extra resistance to liquids (water and other chemicals). The BMP384 provides excellent accuracy across a wide measurement range (300hPa to 1250hPa and -40 to +85°C) on a footprint that uses the Qwiic Standard size (1.0in. x 1.0in.).
The WizFi360-EVB-Pico is based on Raspberry Pi RP2040 and adds WiFi connectivity using WizFi360. It is pin compatible with Raspberry Pi Pico board and can be used for IoT Solution development.
The W5500-EVB-Pico is a microcontroller evaluation board based on the Raspberry Pi RP2040 and fully hardwired TCP/IP controller W5500 – it basically works the same as Raspberry Pi Pico board, but with additional Ethernet via W5500.
The Adjustable Voltage Wall Adapter Power Supply is an all-in-one solution to powering (the majority) of your projects off a wall adapter. This adjustable wall adapter features a rotary switch on the enclosure that allows you to select the voltage that best works for your system or device.
CUI Inc SWI10 Wall Plug Adapters provide up to 12W of continuous power. These adapters come in a compact case and offer less than 0.075W no-load power consumption. The SWI10 adapters feature over-current, over-voltage, and short-circuit protections.
